Jesus the Creator – Colossians 1:16

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things were created through him and for him (Colossians 1:16).

The Bible is very clear in the teaching that Jesus is not a created being, but is fully God, the only uncreated being.

Yet, many false religions teach that Jesus was a created being. For example, Spencer Kimball, 12th President of the Mormon (LDS) Church, taught  that Jesus (Jehovah) was the created brother of Lucifer, “The principal personalities…were a Father Elohim…and two sons, Lucifer and Jehovah” (Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball).

Jesus was the creator of all things or a created being–both cannot be true. Just because someone says they believe in “Jesus Christ” does not mean that they believe in the true Jesus Christ. And, only the real Jesus can save us from our sins.

  1. Amen! Jesus is the creator of all things. He is fully God and we are so blessed He humbled Himself to be born as a man on earth to share the good news and to sacrifice Himself for the forgiveness of our sins. Blessings!
